The Medieval Vegan

Vegan cooking, crafting, and other medieval fun

I’m currently a Postulant for Holy Orders in the Episcopal Church. I’m enrolled in the Master of Divinity program from the School of Theology at the University of the South. I have a B.A in Philosophy and am interested in Medieval Philosophy, Christian Spirituality, and Ecotheology.

In addition to exploring the above topics at my other blog, I also occasionally attempt to cook vegan recipes that stay true to the spirit of medieval cooking as well as reflect on Animal Rights from the perspective of Christian Theology and History.

  1. What a great idea and site! There have always been people throughout history that have abhorred the killing of human and non-human animals. The God Odin was a vegan (Grimnismal 19) as well as the archetypal druid Merlin. Good work!

  2. Hi, nice blog!
I’m currently writing a fantasy novel and including a lot of real medieval stuff. Some characters are vegan 🙂
    Keep up the good work!
